Project Angel Heart News
Locating items in Project Angel Heart’s storage area was once a daunting and time consuming task. Eerily, items have been known to go in and never come out… Now, thanks to a recent donation of Elfa shelving from The Container Store, anything can be easily located in a matter of seconds. On September 19, The Container Store employees generously volunteered their time to spend the morning setting up the shelving, which has transformed our storage area.
The area is dedicated to storing the materials for Project Angel Heart’s four signature events (Dining Out for Life, A Taste for Life, Art for Life, and Pie in the Sky), as well as countless community events each year. Each event has its own set of items that need to remain separate, yet accessible in between uses. Following the move to our new building this past January, we had an area, but not a system, for storing our equipment.
The Container Store’s Elfa shelving has given us the correct means and set-up to make the items organized and accessible, and we no longer fear entering our storage area.
To everyone at The Container Store, thank you!
