Volunteers delivered Project Angel Heart’s first meals in 1991, and today volunteers make it possible for Project Angel Heart to serve nearly 800 clients each week.
In 2012, more than 8,800 amazing individual Project Angel Heart volunteers contributed over 57,000 hours of their time to make sure that our clients receive nutritious meals in both Denver and Colorado Springs. Nearly 100 volunteer groups volunteered their time in 2012 by decorating meal bags and birthday cards for our clients, delivering meals to our clients, working in the kitchen, assisting with special events, and much more!
